It gives me pleasure in informing you that Shiksha Mandal’s Bajaj College of Science, Wardha has received a Rs 57 lac Department of Science and Technology’s prestigious FIST grant.
It may be the first Science College in Vidarbha to get it. Only 10-20 colleges in the country get it every year and in the last 3 years 4 Maharashtra institutions received it, all of whom were from Western Maharashtra.
The College is Autonomous with a NAAC A rating and has received Rs 2 cr RUSA grant, College with Potential for Excellence grant in the past. Being aided It’s fees are only Rs 2,500 per year, for most UG courses, but it provides quality, values based education.
Kudos to its Principal Dr Pradip Tekade and faculties.
