About Department:
The Department of Electronics is one of the nine academic departments of the Bajaj College of Science, Wardha The department was established in the year 1985 with the vision to impart quality education for professional excellence and commitment for sustainable development. It offers B.Sc. Electronics undergraduate programme. The department offers excellent learning facilities to enable the students to meet the challenges of future world and focuses on all round development of the students. This department has achieved remarkable success in the implementation of academic activities.

Programme Objective:
There are two main objectives to the B.Sc. Electronics Programme.
- To produce electronic professionals who can be directly employed or start his/her own work as Electronic Circuit Designer, Electronics consultant, Testing professional, and even an entrepreneur in electronic industry.
- To train students to a level where they can readily compete for seats for advanced degree courses like M.Sc. (Electronics).
On completion of the B.Sc. Electronics Programme, the student will:
- Have sound knowledge of the theory behind core subjects like, electronic components, electronic measuring and testing instruments, Analog and Digital IC’s, Electronic circuit design and implementation, Troubleshooting and maintenance of electronic and electrical devices.
- Have sound skills in assembly Language and High-Level Language programming, interfacing of electronic devices with computers, etc.
- Be in a position to develop industrial and entrepreneur applications.
Highlights of the Syllabus under Academic Autonomy and NEP-2020:
The course syllabi are
designed as per the guidelines of NEP-2020 including various Vocational and
Skill Enhancement Courses along with the fundamental and advanced Majors and
Minors. Following subjects are added to the various courses at different
levels. A special care is taken by the Board of Studies in Electronics in
designing the syllabi of B. Sc. Electronics for overall development of a
student to be a learned professional in electronics.
